The best invention

Invention and innovation is which we cannot expect and avoid, especially in the technological side. In my opinion the best inventions in the past 100 years is a microchip. Why did I choose a microchip? Because did you know almost all the developing technology based on the “thing” that serves cheap and efficient in storing information on a large scale as we called "microchip".

Micro chips are found by the JACK St. Clair Kilby on September 12, 1958, which is a demonstration of simple but able to inscribe the history of the world of technology. Calculator and thermal printer are also their inventions.

"Microelectronics is an electronic device that uses the concept of integration (integrated circuit, IC) the various components required (such as resistors, capacitors, transistors) using the same crystal materials (semiconductor material) are combined into a single chip micro-sized (small). All the components are put together so they no longer need wires to connect to one another."

Microchips are small items but have a huge impact in the development of sophisticated high speed computers and semi-conductors with very large memory capacity on the current information age. For instance, Internet becoming the greatest invention that involved the microchip as a basic component so that we can do anything just sitting in front of PC or laptop by connecting into the internet such as business, social, source of information, etc.

Microchip usability was growing with the peoples who are competing to make innovations in order to facilitate each person live their lives (jobs, hobbies, information, etc) so that eventually invented many things such as LED TV, internet, remote console, mobile phone, passport electronic etc which changing people lifestyle with all the convenience provided by those things.

The function of the microchip continues to evolve along with the wide variety of needs human life and supported by its flexible thing, not just for product but also for human and animal interest. such as the following:

- Ball: Microchip is assigned for sending a signal that contains information about the position of the ball on the ground to ensure the validity of a goal.

- Animal implant: to detect the presence, growths, condition of the animal even the animal disease control.

- Human implant: works to detect the disease in the body, the process of reproduction, etc.

These are just some of the many developments that involve the microchip, and it will continue to happen. for that reason, the microchip can be said to be the starting point of technological change continues to grow and deserve to be the best invention that provides a significant impact on human life today. So we have to be thankful to the people who invented the micro chip which is "JACK St. Clair Kilby" and learn positive think from him in order to contribute and have a better quality of life.
